Sun, May 13, 2007: Colorado Stuffs

I figure this is an easy way to show people my trip, or some of it. :)

The first neato thing that I got to see (after the 3 days of rain ceased) was Flagstaff Mountain right outside of Boulder. Here is a picture of a view from it. I like this picture because you can't tell where the mountains end and the clouds begin, but if you look closely I think you can see that there are some big snow-covered peaks in the distance:

And here is a picture looking toward Boulder:
Ummm I feel like I should have something really cool to say about these but I don't. I just think the mountain and views are beautiful. :)

This is a picture heading toward Vail on Route 70:

I wasn't fast enough to take a picture of the herd of 5 bighorn sheep that were accosting an innocent van that was driving on some random side street. I did, however, get a cool picture of Vail, which was kind enough to stand still for long enough for me to whip my camera out:

Looking back now, I probably should have taken some pictures of the neighborhood where I will be, or of Boulder, but I didn't. :) I also didn't take my camera to Estes Park, which is one of the most beautiful places I think I've ever been, not to mention I saw the creepy hotel where The Shining was filmed.

So those are some pics! Hopefully this works (I'm always doubtful of my ability to cut and paste html links...).
